Merge PDFs: inputs, results and limitations
Combine separate documents into one PDF while retaining the order in which you select them.
How to use Merge PDFs
- Choose the appropriate input file. General limits are 30 MB per file and 100 MB total.
- Run the tool once the input is ready.
- Inspect the preview or result, then download a new file.
An illustrative use case
A four-page report assembled from two two-page PDFs.
Select a real sample file you are allowed to process. Begin with a short, simple input before attempting a complex document or recording.
What to inspect in the output
Select the cover first and the appendix second. Open the download and count the pages; check the join between documents. Keep signed originals separately because a new assembled PDF is a different document.
Where this tool stops
Files are merged in selection order. Signed or encrypted documents need separate review.
Troubleshooting Merge PDFs
If the PDF is encrypted or cannot be parsed, use an unlocked copy you are allowed to edit. For DOCX input, use a genuine .docx file rather than a renamed older .doc document. If extracted text is empty, check whether the source is a scan.
