Select a real sample file you are allowed to process. Begin with a short, simple input before attempting a complex document or recording.

Enter 1,3-5 and verify that each requested page exists in the input. Open the extracted PDF and compare the resulting pages with the source rather than relying on the filename.

If the PDF is encrypted or cannot be parsed, use an unlocked copy you are allowed to edit. For DOCX input, use a genuine .docx file rather than a renamed older .doc document. If extracted text is empty, check whether the source is a scan.
